Indoor LED Display Module

An indoor LED display module is the replaceable LED circuit-board assembly used to build an indoor video wall. EagerLED supplies full-color indoor LED modules from Shenzhen, China, with listed pixel pitches from P0.93 to P4, including P2, P2.5 and P4 SMD options. Compare 320x160mm modules, 250x250mm cable and hub connection modules, flexible modules and fine-pitch formats in the specification tables below. Most listed models specify 3,840Hz refresh; selected 250x250mm cable and hub models list 3,840–7,680Hz. Brightness is model-specific, with listed values from 300 to 800 nits.

LED Lamps

EagerLED lists Nationstar, Kinglight and Hongsen LED lamp options. Confirm the lamp brand, LED package and production batch for the selected model before ordering. Consistent lamp binning, drive settings and calibration help maintain brightness and color uniformity across a video wall; the lamp brand alone does not determine the final image quality.

Driver IC and Control Compatibility

The driver IC controls LED output, while the receiving card and control system deliver and map the image data. EagerLED lists MBI5153, MBI5124, ICN2153 and ICN2038S driver options and Linsn control solutions. The exact IC, scan mode and receiving-card configuration must match the module. Confirm refresh rate and grayscale at the intended brightness; do not assume every IC option provides identical performance.

72-Hour Aging and Final Inspection

EagerLED’s stated module aging procedure totals 72 hours: two 24-hour white-balance stages plus 24 hours of video playback. Aging and final inspection help identify unstable pixels, connection faults and color differences before packing. For project acceptance, request the test record and agree on inspection criteria, spare modules and the 2-year warranty terms with your quotation.

Pixel Pitches and Module Formats

The specifications below cover P0.93 to P4 indoor LED modules. Formats include 320x160mm, 250x250mm, 300×168.75mm, 320x180mm, 256x128mm, 256x256mm, 192x192mm and 160x160mm. The P0.93 entry uses MiniLED; other listed models use SMD packages, with GOB identified on selected models. Use the exact model row for resolution, scan mode, refresh rate and brightness. Nominal pitch labels may be rounded, so use the listed pixel resolution when planning the screen.

How to Choose an Indoor LED Display Module

Start with the nearest viewer, the required screen resolution and the cabinet design. A module is one component of a complete indoor LED screen: power supplies, receiving cards, a compatible controller, mounting structure and configuration are also required.

P2, P2.5 or P4: compare resolution at the same module size

For the 320x160mm series, P2 provides 160×80 pixels (12,800 pixels), P2.5 provides 128×64 pixels (8,192 pixels), and P4 provides 80×40 pixels (3,200 pixels). P2 therefore has four times the pixel count of P4 over the same area. A finer pitch is useful for small text and closer viewing; a coarser pitch may suit larger graphics viewed from farther away. Choose using actual content and viewing distance, rather than a universal minimum-distance promise.

Calculate screen size and native resolution

Screen resolution = module pixel resolution × module count along each axis. For example, a layout of 10 modules across and 10 high using the listed P2.5 320x160mm modules produces a 3.2m × 1.6m active area and 1,280 × 640 pixels. That is a planning example, not a complete cabinet design. Confirm cabinet dimensions, seams, receiving-card capacity and the video processor’s output mapping before manufacture.

Match brightness, refresh rate and the installation

  • Brightness: select the exact model’s rating for the room’s ambient light and test dimmed grayscale performance. Indoor brightness specifications do not establish suitability for direct sunlight or outdoor exposure.
  • Refresh rate: the listed P2 320x160mm model specifies 3,840Hz, 700 nits and 1/40 scan. For filmed displays, test the complete system with the intended camera frame rate and shutter settings; a high refresh-rate figure alone does not guarantee a band-free recording.
  • Connection: cable and hub versions need the matching cabinet, connector layout and receiving-card arrangement. Matching dimensions alone do not establish compatibility.
  • Service access: confirm the module’s mounting method and front or rear removal clearance. For flexible modules, request the permitted bending radius and supporting frame design.

Indoor LED Module Price and International Project Quotes

Indoor LED display module price depends on pixel pitch, LED package, driver IC, protective treatment, quantity and replacement requirements. Compare quotations for the same specification and scope: a module-only price is different from a complete cabinet or installed video wall price.

EagerLED is based in Shenzhen, China. For projects in the United States, Saudi Arabia or other destinations, provide the installation city and country so the quotation can address freight, delivery terms and the required compliance documents. Confirm currency, taxes or import duties, lead time and warranty return arrangements before ordering. Request CE, RoHS or FCC documentation applicable to the quoted model and intended market.

To request a quotation, provide screen width and height, nearest viewing distance, content type, indoor lighting conditions, preferred pixel pitch, module quantity, spare-module requirements and target delivery date. For replacement modules, include front and rear photos, the PCB/model number, dimensions, connector layout, driver IC and receiving-card details. Ask EagerLED to confirm the supplied cables and accessories in the order’s packing list.

Indoor LED Display Module FAQ

Select a question to expand its answer.

01 What is an indoor LED display module?

An indoor LED display module is an assembly of LED pixels, a printed circuit board, driver electronics and connectors. Multiple modules fit into a cabinet or supporting structure to form a video wall. The module needs compatible power and control equipment to display content.

02 Which is better for my screen: P2, P2.5 or P4?

P2 has a 2mm nominal pixel pitch, P2.5 has 2.5mm and P4 has 4mm. A smaller pitch gives more pixels in the same area, which helps with detailed content and close viewing. In the listed 320x160mm series, their resolutions are 160x80, 128x64 and 80x40 pixels respectively. Compare readability at the nearest viewing position and the total system cost.

03 Are all 320x160mm indoor LED modules interchangeable?

No. Replacement modules must match more than physical size and pixel pitch. Check mounting points, PCB layout, LED package, driver IC, scan mode, connector pinout, supply requirements and receiving-card settings. Different production batches can also show color or brightness differences. Have the supplier verify compatibility before mixing new modules into an existing wall.

04 What is the difference between cable and hub connection modules?

Cable connection modules use the specified cable arrangement; hub connection modules mate with a compatible hub or adapter board. The connector position and electrical configuration must match the cabinet and control hardware. The two versions should not be treated as drop-in substitutes simply because both measure 250x250mm.

05 Does 3,840Hz refresh rate guarantee flicker-free camera footage?

No. Refresh rate is one factor in camera performance. Scan mode, driver settings, brightness, camera shutter timing and synchronization also matter. The tables list 3,840Hz for most models and 3,840–7,680Hz for selected 250x250mm cable and hub models. Confirm the quoted configuration and perform a camera test for filming applications.

06 Can indoor SMD or GOB modules be used outdoors?

Do not assume they can. Indoor modules must be selected for their rated environment. GOB is a protective encapsulation treatment and does not by itself establish an outdoor IP rating. Rain, condensation, sunlight, temperature and enclosure protection require a suitable outdoor display design.

07 What determines indoor LED display module price?

Pixel pitch, lamp and driver configuration, module size, GOB treatment, quantity and spare requirements all affect the quotation. For international orders, also confirm shipping, delivery terms, currency and any import charges. Send the intended screen layout or replacement module details for a comparable model-specific quote.

08 What warranty and quality checks should I confirm?

EagerLED lists a 2-year warranty and a 72-hour aging procedure for these modules. Confirm the written warranty scope, acceptance criteria, spare quantities and repair or return process for the order. Retain the model information, configuration files and batch details to make future servicing easier.
