EA500H9 500 × 500 mm Rental LED Board Overview
The EagerLED EA500H9 is a 500 × 500 mm rental LED board for indoor and outdoor events. Outdoor P2.6 to P4.81 run 3,000 to 6,000 cd/m² at IP65; indoor P1.56 to P3.91 run 700 to 1,000 cd/m² at IP31.

Die-Cast 500 × 500 mm Cabinet Design
Die-cast aluminium cabinets join on a 250 mm module grid. Outdoor cabinets weigh 7.5 kg and indoor cabinets 6.5 to 7 kg, light enough for one person to lift and align on site.

Front and Rear Service Access
Magnet-mounted modules lift off from the viewing side and the power box opens from the rear, so a cabinet can be serviced with the wall still rigged and one failure need not stop the show.

Curved LED Wall Installation with Arc Locks (Optional)
Optional high-precision arc locks index each cabinet to a set angle, so a curve repeats at the same radius on the next build. Flat and curved sections can be mixed in one screen.

Detachable Power Box and HUB Board
The power supply and HUB board sit in a detachable rear box wired on a HUB connection rather than individual module cables, so the unit swaps out without re-cabling the cabinet.

Mixing EA500H9 and EA1000H9 Cabinets
The 500 × 500 mm cabinet bolts to the 500 × 1000 mm EA1000H9 horizontally and vertically on the same 250 mm module grid.
Staggered and Creative Installations
Cabinets share a 250 mm module grid, so the H9 series can be stepped or staggered into checkerboard and irregular wall shapes with the same quick-lock installation system.

≥3,840 Hz Refresh for On-Camera Content
At least 3,840 Hz refresh with 14-bit grayscale and a frame rate of 60 Hz or more, so broadcast and phone cameras record a stable image without scan lines.

Rental LED Board Applications
Stage backdrops, touring shows, exhibitions and conference sets. Quick locks, dual-side service access and arc locks suit a rental LED display that is rigged, struck and rebuilt repeatedly.

EA500H9 Rental LED Board FAQ
What is the EA500H9 rental LED board?
It is a 500 × 500 mm die-cast rental cabinet from the EagerLED H9 series, built from four 250 × 250 mm modules. Indoor models run P1.56 to P3.91 at 700 to 1,000 cd/m² behind an IP31 face; outdoor models run P2.6 to P4.81 at 3,000 to 6,000 cd/m² with IP65 front and IP54 rear protection. Cabinets weigh 7.5 kg outdoors and 6.5 to 7 kg indoors.
Which pixel pitch should I choose for the EA500H9?
Match the pitch to the closest viewer. Indoor P1.56 and P1.95 suit walls watched from under 3 m, such as control rooms and studios, while P2.5 to P3.91 work from roughly 3 to 5 m. Outdoors, choose P2.6 or P2.97 when cameras sit close to the screen, and P3.91 or P4.81 for large walls viewed from 5 m or more. Density falls from 409,600 pixels/m² at P1.56 to 43,264 at P4.81.
Can the EA500H9 be used outdoors in rain?
Yes. Outdoor models are rated IP65 on the front face and IP54 at the rear with a working range of -20 °C to +60 °C, so they handle rain, dust and touring use. Brightness runs from 3,000 cd/m² on the black-LED outdoor models to 6,000 cd/m² on EA500H9-OP3.91-8S. The indoor series is rated IP31 and must stay indoors.
How much power does an EA500H9 wall need?
Cabinets run on AC 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz. Outdoor models draw 170 to 240 W/m² average and 500 to 720 W/m² maximum; indoor models draw 100 to 192 W/m² average and 300 to 576 W/m² maximum. Size the generator, distro and cabling on the maximum figures rather than the averages.
Can the EA500H9 be curved or built as a ring?
Yes, with the optional high-precision arc locks. They index each cabinet to a set angle, so a wall can be built concave or convex and the same radius repeats on the next build. Longer runs can be closed into a circle where the cabinet count allows. Flat and curved sections can be mixed in one screen. Order the arc locks together with the cabinets.
How many EA500H9 cabinets do I need for a wall size?
Cabinets are 500 × 500 mm, so a 3,000 × 2,000 mm wall takes 24 cabinets in a six-wide, four-high array. That gives 1,920 × 1,280 pixels at P1.56 or 1,008 × 672 pixels at P2.97, because each 250 × 250 mm module is 160 × 160 pixels at P1.56 and 84 × 84 pixels at P2.97. Send your wall size, viewing distance and site photos and we will return the cabinet matrix, resolution and controller plan.
