How does an LED jumbotron work?
An LED display is assembled from modules inside cabinets. Each pixel combines red, green and blue light to produce the image. Receiving cards, power supplies and a video processor distribute and map the signal. The venue also needs a playback or control workflow for cameras, score data, sponsor assets and emergency messages.
Native resolution follows physical size and pixel pitch. For example, a 12 m × 6 m display at 6 mm pitch has about 2,000 × 1,000 pixels, assuming the cabinet layout supports those dimensions. The calculation is screen width or height in millimetres divided by pitch in millimetres. A finer pitch increases pixel count and cost; it does not improve the viewing experience automatically when the crowd is far away.

Structure, engineering, electrical work, freight, installation, commissioning, permits, operator training, spare parts and warranty terms change the installed cost. Ask suppliers to identify whether a figure means LED panels only, a complete display package or a fully installed system. Any price range without a quote date and itemized scope should not be treated as a current offer.
