Indoor and Outdoor EA500H8 Rental LED Display
The EA500H8 rental LED display from EagerLED uses 500 x 500 mm cabinets for indoor and outdoor event video walls. It combines front and rear service, a detachable power box and optional curved installation. Indoor models offer P1.56, P1.95 and P2.6 GOB, plus P2.97; outdoor models offer P2.6, P2.97 and P3.91. Choose the configuration for your viewing distance, venue and screen size.
500 x 500 mm Cabinet Design
Each 500 x 500 mm cabinet uses 250 x 250 mm modules, quick locks, handles and locating slots for panel alignment. The listed cabinet weight is 6.3 kg indoors or 6.5 kg outdoors. One cabinet covers 0.25 m², so a flat 4 x 3 m video wall needs 8 columns and 6 rows: 48 cabinets, excluding the support structure.
Front and Rear Service
Can EA500H8 be serviced from the front or rear? Yes. Magnetic LED modules and a cabinet designed for access from either side let technicians service the screen to suit the installation. Plan the access space before choosing a wall position, and confirm the service tools and replacement modules for your selected pixel pitch.
Compatible Cabinet Splicing
EA500H8 cabinets support mixed layouts with EA500H7 rental LED screens, EA500H8V right-angle cabinets and EA1000H8 cabinets. This allows event teams to plan different screen shapes. Ask EagerLED to confirm cabinet connections, pixel pitch and control compatibility before combining models in one video wall.
Detachable Back Cover
The EA500H8 rental LED display has a detachable back cover and power box with a quick-release buckle. Its HUB connection design connects the modules to the cabinet electronics. Technicians can remove the power box for service; confirm the matching power supply, receiving card and spare parts when ordering a rental fleet.
Corner Protector
Four corner guards help protect the LED module edges when panels are handled, packed and assembled. This is useful for rental teams that move cabinets between venues. Use suitable transport cases and inspect the corners and locking points before each build; corner protection does not replace careful handling.
Curved installation (Optional)
Can EA500H8 form a curved LED wall? Yes, with the optional high-precision curve lock. Specify a curved installation when requesting your quotation so the lock configuration matches the planned screen shape. Confirm the available angle range and screen radius with EagerLED before finalizing the design.
3840 Hz Refresh Rate and Brightness
EA500H8 specifies a refresh frequency of at least 3840 Hz, 14-bit grayscale and a 140-degree viewing angle. Indoor brightness is 750-800 cd/m²; outdoor brightness is 4500-6000 cd/m², depending on the model. These are configuration-specific values, not one setting for every panel. For filmed events, test the screen with the intended camera, shutter speed and brightness setting.
Indoor and Outdoor Event Applications
Use EA500H8 for stage backdrops, exhibitions and event video walls. Indoor models are rated IP31; outdoor models specify IP65 at the front and IP54 at the rear. Select the outdoor configuration for exposed venues and plan protection for the rear connections.
